Statistic: A number that describes a sample.

Sampling Error: The difference that exists between the population mean and the sample mean.

Constructs: A construct is a variable that is not directly observable or measurable, and units are at the heart of measurement.

Hypotheses: Statements about the relationships between variables.

The variable n is used to denote the sample size.
