The challenge in setting new goal surprisingly is not in initiating but rather maintaining the momentum or being consistent. This as a matter of fact becomes difficult not during the initial few consistent tries but rather when success begins glaring at us. Consumed by pride, it is common to begin assuming the hard struggles are second nature. True and False. This is perfectly captured in the Book of Proverbs 30 : 9 where the writer is worried about commitment to God upon encountering success.

Proverbs 30:9 :- Otherwise, I may have too much and deny You, saying, “Whois the LORD?…

Pray for strength

Christianity imbibes discipline and consistency in its soldiers of the cross. Demonstrating Christlike behaviour penetrates into every aspect of a Christian’s life: Family, church, entertainmen with no exception with regards to work. Maintaining discipline to achieve goals of being excellent, which is part of our life is definitely something God, our Father will definitely be interested in offering assistance.

Focus

What made you begin in the first place? Always see the why. The reason behind the goal. Your persistence for an initiative is as strong and lasting as your reason for starting. Never take your eyes of the reason. Keep in mind your focus mantra and let is resound in your mind as you move on.

Flee Distractions

It is so fun to engage distractions but they could be as dangerous as they sound. Keep distractions to a minimal or eliminate them. Sometimes, distractions can add value. Hence ennsure that time spent engaging them are reduced.

Environment Matter

Stay in a positive environment. This includes but not limited to friends who inspire you to keep moving forward to your goal.

Remember this: Nothing good comes easy. It always comes with a sacrifice.
